Our international private bank client is seeking an experienced professional to join their private trust group in London. The focus of the position is the development of a market-leading trust solution to the Family Offices and High Net Worth client market.
The trust group excels at delivering highly bespoke services to their, predominantly emerging market, client base through a small number of highly qualified legal and tax advisers.
Maintaining a visible and active presence in the market, the Business Development Manager will provide specialist support to the offshore client team, building and maintaining an internal network across the wider Group, analysing and assessing the banking/investment needs of these clients, while also exploring new business opportunities and developing a strong network in the external market. The Business Development Manager will also identify structuring opportunities and present and execute structuring proposals.
In order to be considered for this position, the applicant must have a demonstrable track record in sales and marketing and hold a suitable financial or legal qualification at professional / degree level (for example ACA, lawyer, STEP, ICSA). An in-depth understanding of the offshore financial environment is key. The candidate will likely have 10 - 15 years experience in direct financial product sales and a sound understanding of the use of trusts and other structuring vehicles.
