Excellent opportunity of working alongside the PM of this global macro fund. The Trader will work closely with PM and wider team, and will have direct shared responsibility for developing overall strategy and portfolio construction. The role will also contribute to the generation of global macro-themes grounded in economic analysis, market research, and econometrics. He/she will provide thought leadership on FX and equity decisions globally.
Requirements • Experienced Trader within the global macro market • Demonstrated performance record will be an important factor • An ability to utilise macro analysis to articulate portfolio themes • Strong risk management skills and discipline • Leadership skills and ability to provide direction and develop a small team and a body of work to support trade ideas • Demonstrated knowledge of economics, rates, and FX • Ability to clearly communicate thought processes • Ability to build, develop and maintain strong relationships and navigate a complex work environment • Relentless drive for execution and performance • Self starter.
