HEAD ASSET MANAGEMENT SALES SUISSE-ROMANDE (PRIVATE CLIENTS)
Position description
This senior role requires an experienced, qualified (CFA or equivalent) investment professional with significant prior client exposure. The team is responsible for structuring and selling asset management solutions to the bank's existing HNW clients, so no exiting client base is required but outstanding communication skills in English and French are required.
Role
This is an exciting role for an experienced investment professional who has experience in leading a small team. It could suit an asset management sales professional who would like to develop their career into the private banking sphere.
The position is nestled between the very front contact point with the bank’s clients and the portfolio management department. On a day-to-day basis you will support the bank’s client acquisition through attending and contributing to prospect meetings as the investment expert; initially assessing the current client portfolio, risk appetite and other factors to establish an investment / asset allocation proposal. Further you will provide investment advice to existing private clients in form of asset allocation strategy advice and investment proposals based on new research papers and developments in the markets.
The investment solutions at your disposal will comprise virtually every asset class, traditional and non-traditional.
Requirements
- Desired: CFA or equivalent professional or academic qualification - At least 7 years experience in portfolio management or investment advisory, of which some in a leadership role - A good combination of investment and communication skills - Ability to communicate with all personality types and to build trust - Fluent language skills in both English and French
