This international bank has nearly 40 years experience on the island, a bank that prides itself on providing a bespoke service to its clients, ignoring the ‘one size fits all’ approach. The role sits within the banks accounting function, focusing predominantly on management accounting but also covering a wide scope of accounting activities.
Specifically, you will be responsible for the production of management accounts, group reporting, regulatory reports and management information. In addition you will prepare financial statements and tax computations as well as financial plans and budgets.
You will report into the Senior Manager of the finance team, whilst also supporting the MD and Deputy MD where required. There will also be some supervisory responsibility involved for more junior members of staff.
Our client is ideally seeking somebody ACCA/CIMA qualified, coupled with a minimum of five years experience in a banking organisation. Knowledge of BM+ and 4Series is required, as is experience of reporting under UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS accounting methodologies.
