Our client is a long established multi billion dollar leading alternative investment fund. They are currently building their team and require an experience salesperson to take responsibility for the Northern and Eastern European regions.
Role Marketing products to current and potential investors (both institutional, private banking, distribution parties, both on-site and in-house) Maintaining and further strengthening and deepening relationships with existing investors, more specifically with the goal to keeping them as investors (e.g. preventing redemptions, cross-marketing other products as alternatives) Developing new prospect as well as consultant relationships Managing day-to-day marketing responsibilities (client calls, client meetings, subscription/redemption issues, etc) Supervising efforts on preparing the written proposals in response to clients RFPs and RFIs Coordinating presentations and other materials needed for meetings with Client Services Educating oneself about the fund products, underlying strategies, managers, new product launches, etc.
Candidate requirements Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent relationship-building skills Working knowledge of finance and asset management Bachelors degree (preferably in business, finance or related field) Relevant sales experience, preferably for a hedge fund or fund of funds but banking and investment banking experience considered - covering Germany/Austria essential Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives.
