Our client is a leading international financial services firm providing a range of support services to the fiduciary services industry. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Compliance Manager (Trust Company Business) who will be reporting to the Head of Jersey Compliance. It is expected that that the position holder will act as a Principal Person for Client Managed Trust entities in the role of Compliance Officer, MLCO and MLRO. It also may be the case that the position holder will act as MLCO for the Fiduciary Trust Company affiliation group. Preferably you will meet the following criteria detailed below: • 5 years + experience of the offshore financial services business • A good academic background and an industry relevant professional qualification • Sound knowledge of company law, collective investment law and fiduciary principles • Sound knowledge and application of relevant anti-money laundering legislation, financial services legislation together with relevant guidance notes and codes of practice • Good understanding of the duties and the responsibilities of trustees and directors and the practical application thereof in the offshore trust industry • Good understanding of the regulatory risks attached with trust company business and how in practice they are remediated • Good knowledge of accounting principles and statutory requirements • Good understanding of PC applications. • Commercial and risk awareness An excellent benefits package is on offer for the right candidate.
