The private banking team of this top-tier international financial institution is looking for a trust manager for their Singapore office.
You will handle day-to-day management of a portfolio of trusts, dealing with accounting, administration and investments. You will also have regular contact with clients and represent the company’s trust services.
Responsibilities: Management of a portfolio of private trusts and responsibility for all day-to-day activity, including investment and tax issues Developing good working relationships and maximising efficiencies and responsibilities Proactively contributing to business planning and implementing strategy to achieve the annual budget Assisting with corporate trusts as required Maintaining long-term relationships with all clients and their advisors Regularly liaising with investment managers to review and monitor trust portfolio performance Working closely with other members of the team to provide an enhanced service to clients and ensure effective integration of new business into the system
Candidate requirements: STEP/ACA/ACCA/ICSA qualification At least five years’ experience in the trust field Strong expertise in relation to onshore trusts and fiduciary work; UK tax skills Knowledge of legal regulations and industry requirements Analysis skills Business development ability Knowledge of products and services, budgeting and cost control Management, planning and organisational skills
